Christmas/Holiday Gifts Custom Made for you!

In addition to my hand knitted personalized Christmas Stockings, I will be offering other gift items for sale as well.  These items will be custom made just for you, so if you have something in mind that you don't see, feel free to contact me, it's most likely doable!

First, we have fingerless mittens.  You are by no means limited to the designs below, and at a later date I'll be publishing designs of my own that will be available as well.  The price for fingerless mittens is $15-20 depending on the pattern/yarn used.  (The white below is $15, the green $20)

Hats:  $15.  If you're interested in a hat, contact me and I'll show you what I can do.  There are some VERY cool options, far better than what you'll find in a store, as well as far more unique.

Cowls: $20.  Again, if you're interested let me know and I'll show you some options.  They're are so many beautiful choices to pick from!

If you have anything else in mind, just let me know and it's most likely doable.

Christmas Stocking Pre-Orders

Well ladies and gentlemen, it's that time again!  Hallmark has ornaments out, there's Christmas decor popping up everywhere.  I'm going to start taking pre-orders for hand knitted personalized Christmas stockings.

The price is $25 each, or 4 for $100.  The turn around time is 1-2 weeks, depending on how many orders I receive.  Below are some examples of stockings I knitted for last Christmas:

The stockings will be the colors of your choice, and will have your selected name on the front, the year on the back.  The top photo, the three on the right, are the base design.  It's a classic design, and beautiful in any color combination.  You may choose another design, but it will depend on how well it will adapt to the pattern.  They are made of 100% wool, unless you request otherwise.

If you're interested, you may contact me through Facebook, or at msknitterly@gmail.com

Also, keep an eye out for further posts about other gift items I'll be offering for sale!

Knitting in hazardous conditions...

...and by hazardous conditions, I mean amidst a rambunctious toddler.

Seriously, if stay at home Mom was an Army MOS, we'd get hazardous duty pay.  My sons name is Parker, he's a little over 20 months old, and he's the most amazing thing on the planet.

See?  Absolutely adorable.  Of course you can also see where he gets his good looks from.  His Daddy, the love of my life, is pretty fun to look at himself.

In knitting news, when Parker isn't trying to unravel things or run off with my needles, I've been working on a pattern.  It is a hooded cardigan for a toddler.  I'm using Knit Picks Felici Sport, so it's self striping.  The color-way I'm using is Chimney.  It's red, and different shades of gray, I love it.  I'm knitting the back and fronts in one piece, so it will be seamless.  It's from the bottom up, and I'm about 5 inches in right now.  It's going to be awesome!
